Ole Miss running back Snoop Conner exits vs. Texas A&M
Ole Miss could be down another offensive weapon. Running back Snoop Conner exited Saturday night’s game against Texas A&M late in the second quarter.
The Rebels have been missing a handful of quarterback Matt Corral’s top targets for most of the season, including wide receiver Jonathan Mingo. Wideout Braylon Sanders just returned last week against Liberty, but he still was not fully healthy.
Ole Miss holds a 15-0 lead at the half.
Entering Saturday night’s game against the Aggies, Conner had 84 carries for 454 yards on the season along with 10 touchdowns. With Corral dealing with a lingering injury, Ole Miss has not hesitated to feed the junior running back plenty of carries.

Corral hasn’t been able to practice much over the last two weeks, which Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin said is not ideal for the offense. A lack of practice impacts what you can get away with calling during a game, further limiting the offense. But Corral battling through his injury can also have positive impacts on the team.
“He didn’t practice last week so we’ve kind of gotten used to this,” Kiffin said of Corral earlier in the week. “It limits what we do obviously and what we can call in the game. Practice is important no matter who you are, especially the quarterback for a lot of reasons. So that is not ideal at all obviously.
