The story of college basketball has become Sunday’s Big Ten game between the Michigan Wolverines and the Wisconsin Badgers. While Greg Gard’s team got the win on the court, all eyes have been on the post-game disagreement between him and Juwan Howard. It led to the Michigan head coach throwing a punch and landing on a Wisconsin assistant coach.

Social media has had plenty of reactions, especially from the media suggesting a suspension for Howard before their next game against Maryland on Wednesday. However, some people have taken the opportunity to make some humor out of the situation, specifically Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin.

Kiffin had to weigh in on the incident via Twitter on Sunday. He posted a gif of him and Mississippi State Bulldogs head coach Mike Leach messing around with their masks back during 2020.

Lane Kiffin creates transfer portal hoodies

Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin was one of the most active coaches in the transfer portal this offseason. It was almost like #ComeToTheSip was becoming #TransferToTheSip.

Kiffin had that same idea, and he literally put it on a shirt.

Earlier this week, Kiffin tweeted a picture of some new hoodies he got that say “Transfer To The Sip” on them. This comes the same offseason he landed 14 transfers, including former USC quarterback Jaxson Dart and TCU transfer running back Zach Evans. They likely came from LFG Shirts, which also created “Come To The Sip” shirts and debuted the “Transfer To The Sip” hoodies Feb. 2.

Dart comes to Ole Miss as the No. 2-ranked transfer in the portal and Evans came in at No. 7, according to the On3 Transfer Portal Rankings. Kiffin originally declared himself the “Portal King” before giving the title to USC coach Lincoln Riley after he landed On3’s No. 1-ranked transfer, Caleb Williams.
