Ole Miss mercilessly trolls Mississippi State on Black Friday after Egg Bowl victory
Ole Miss isn’t even close to done celebrating Thursday’s Egg Bowl victory over Mississippi State.
On Black Friday, less than 24 hours after Lane Kiffin’s Rebels knocked off the Bulldogs in commanding fashion, the Rebels’ social media department kept the celebration rolling with this epic troll aimed at Mississippi State.
When curiously clicking on the Amazon list, Bulldogs’ supporters will find a wide array of items aimed at a person, program or team who is avoiding eggs.
Here are a few of the items on the list. Here’s a direct link that is sure to infuriate nearly everyone in Starkville, while providing pleasure for Rebels’ supporters.
- Baking without eggs (paperback book)
- Peter Rabbit: The Tale of the missing egg
- eggless mayonnaise
- eggless oatmeal cookie mix
- Bob’s Red Mill, egg substitute
- Follow Your Heart egg vegan
- Hella Phat vegan egg flavor seasoning mix
- No Green Eggs or Ham: A Vegan Parody
- Bobos Babes Adventures: The Missing Egg
The amount of research, creativity and time involved in this troll is astounding, but Ole Miss reclaiming the Egg Bowl victory is no small feat.
In keeping the “Golden Egg,” Ole Miss (10–2) claimed its first 10-win regular season in program history and clinched a New Year’s Six bowl berth. Rebels head coach Lane Kiffin also became the first Ole Miss coach to win his first two Egg Bowls since Billy Brewer in 1983 and 1984.

Earlier in the week, Kiffin admitted that he didn’t quite know the extent of how deep the Egg Bowl rivalry between Ole Miss and Mississippi State was. But as he has gotten to experience it for himself, Kiffin is no stranger to it now.
“I don’t think I knew the toxicity,” Kiffin said on Monday. “I had heard about it here or there, recruiting issues and all that. Someone said it the other day, it doesn’t make sense because Leach and I get along. Maybe we were brought here to bring the state together or something, get you guys to get along. It is football, you know, so, you really shouldn’t hate people because they went to a certain school.”
Clearly there is no holding back when it comes to the dislike between these two storied SEC programs.
