Ole Miss safety Jadon Canady enters NCAA transfer portal
Ole Miss safety Jadon Canady has entered the NCAA transfer portal, according to a report from On3’s Pete Nakos.
Canady is just wrapping up his junior season with the Rebels, a bit of a breakout campaign. He finished the year with 38 tackles, 2.5 tackles for a loss and 11 pass breakups.
The Ole Miss standout spent two years in Oxford after transferring in from Tulane.
Jadon Canady was a standout at Tulane, too, though it took him a little time to get fully rolling at Ole Miss.

Ole Miss lands offensive line transfer
The Rebels have gained some in the transfer portal while some like Jadon Canady have opted to look elsewhere for more playing time.
UAB Blazers offensive lineman Delano Townsend has committed to transfer to the Ole Miss Rebels, On3 has learned.
Townsend has spent the last two seasons with the Blazers, taking a redshirt during his first season at UAB. Then, 2024 became more of a breakout season for the Townsend, starting in 11 games for UAB. He appeared in all 12 games.
Coming out of high school at Hamady in Michigan, Townsend was a three-star recruit in the Class of 2023, according to the On3 Industry Ranking. He was the 208th-ranked interior offensive lineman and the 2,329th-ranked player in that recruiting cycle.
On3’s Dan Morrison also contributed to this report.
