WATCH: Ole Miss reveals uniforms for showdown vs. Texas A&M
Saturday is a big day in Oxford, and the Rebels will be dressed for the occasion.
On Thursday, No. 15 Ole Miss revealed their uniforms for their game against No. 11 Texas A&M.
The look will be half blue and half white, as the Rebels will wear powder-blue helmets and jerseys with white pants, socks and cleats. Red accents, including a red helmet stripe, will be scattered all over the uniforms.
ESPN’s College GameDay will be on-site in Oxford on Saturday morning for just the second time in the show’s history. GameDay has yet to announce this week’s guest picker, but Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin has a strong opinion.
He wants pop star Katy Perry to make her second appearance to choose Saturday’s slate of games. Perry chose the Rebels to upset No. 3 Alabama in 2014 while Kiffin was the Tide’s offensive coordinator. No. 11 Ole Miss pulled out a 23-17 victory.

Rebels offense has struggled in SEC play
The over/under of 57 suggests Las Vegas has confidence in the Aggies’ ability to stop a high-octane Ole Miss offense. Texas A&M boasts the second-best scoring defense in the nation, allowing just 14.7 points per game. Kiffin compared them to an NFL unit earlier this week.
“It really looks like when you watch NFL defenses where basically everybody’s a really good player that looks right,” Kiffin said Monday.
While the Ole Miss offense was firing on all cylinders early in the season, it has been slowed by injuries and more talented SEC defenses. The Rebels remain the fourth-best scoring offense in the SEC, but they have eclipsed 31 points just once in conference play. Ole Miss is 1-2 against ranked opponents this season.
Texas A&M is a 2.5-point road favorite. The primetime game kicks off at 6:00 p.m. CT on ESPN.
