Top player in transfer portal Walter Nolen set to visit Ole Miss
Former Texas A&M defensive lineman Walter Nolen is set to visit Ole Miss as he continues to search for his next home. Nolen is visiting Ole Miss this week, according to On3’s Chad Simmons.
Nolen is ranked as the No. 1 overall player in the portal, according to the On3 Industry transfer portal rankings.
He was ranked as the No. 1 overall recruit in the class of 2022, according to the On3 industry rankings.
Walter Nolen is coming off of a visit to Oregon this past weekend.
Nolen immediately made an impact for the Aggies after signing with Texas A&M for the class of 2022, playing in 10 games while making four starts as a true freshman.
For his career, Nolen has appeared in 22 games and recorded 66 tackles, 11 tackles for loss and 5 sacks.
As a senior at Powell High in Powell, Tennessee, Nolen recorded 93 tackles, 33 tackles for loss and 17 sacks. He helped Powell to a 13-2 record and the 5-A state championship that season.
