Wide receiver Tre Harris announces decision to return to Ole Miss for 2024 season
Ole Miss wide receiver Tre Harris announced Monday that he’ll be returning to Oxford in 2024 for another season with the Rebels.
Harris spent the first three seasons of his career at Louisiana Tech, transferring to Ole Miss following his 2022 breakout season with the Bulldogs where he caught 65 passes for 935 yards and 10 touchdowns, earning All-Conference USA First-Team honors.
He entered the 2023 season making the 2023 Biletnikoff Award Preseason Watch List and the 2024 Reese’s Senior Bowl Watch List, and surely lived up to the hype in his first season with the Rebels. Harris ended the regular season with 47 receptions, 851 yards, and eight touchdowns.
Instead of declaring for the 2024 NFL Draft, Harris will be returning for a second season with Ole Miss, which the Rebels revealed in an electric via Twitter that be seen below.
Harris ended the season as Ole Miss’ receiving yards and touchdowns leader, with the Rebels also returning leading rusher Quinshon Judkins and starting quarterback Jaxson Dart. Top tight end Caden Prieskorn also recently announced he’ll be returning to Oxford next season as well, with Ole Miss’ offense looking like it could return to top form in the 2024 season.
