After Nico Iamaleava committed to Tennessee two days ago, the quarterback dominoes are expected to start falling all over the country. And most observers believe Pittsburg (Calif.) High four-star quarterback Jaden Rashada could be one of the next to come off the board.

That’s why it’s interesting to see that Ole Miss is now trending heavily on Rashada’s list, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine.

The On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine says the Rebels have a 73.4% chance of landing Rashada. Oregon is listed second in the On RPM with a 10% chance. The Rebels and Ducks are followed by Cal and Miami at 4.7%. UCLA and BYU — two others high on his list — are listed with a 1% chance of landing Rashada.

The On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.

It factors in machine learning, expert predictions, social sentiment, visits, and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.

Expert pick logged for Jaden Rashada

And it’s an expert prediction for Jaden Rashada from On3 Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons that has given Ole Miss a sizable lead in the On3 RPM. Simmons logged a 50% prediction for the Rebels on Tuesday.

Simmons said intel indicates Ole Miss is in a great position with Rashada.

“He loves the South as far as football, development and competition,” Simmons said. “And Ole Miss checks all of those boxes. He wants to visit Ole Miss and Miami in the next few weeks. And I’m sure Oregon is going to turn up the heat now that they didn’t land Nico.
