Report: Florida transfer EDGE Princely Umanmielen expected to commit to Ole Miss

Florida transfer EDGE Princely Umanmielen is expected to commit to Ole Miss, according to a report from Matt Zenitz. He’s coming off a monster year for the Gators in 2023 before entering the transfer portal.

Umanmielen is one of the top transfers to hit the portal so far this cycle, checking in at No. 3 in the On3 Industry Transfer Rankings and the top EDGE to enter the portal. He is coming off the best season of his career, totaling 39 tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss and 7.0 sacks for Florida as a senior. Afterward, though, he ultimately decided to take his talents elsewhere, and it appears he’s heading to Oxford.

Earlier this week, Umanmielen took a visit to Ole Miss, as OM Spirit’s Zach Berry reported.

Princely Umanmielen played high school football at Manor (TX), where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 254 overall recruit in the 2020 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
