4-star PF Rashaud Marshall recommits to Ole Miss
Blytheville (Ark.) four-star power forward Rashaud Marshall has recommitted to Ole Miss, he told On3’s Joe Tipton. He originally requested a release from his National Letter of Intent on Feb. 28, but that changed following the Rebels’ hiring of head coach Chris Beard.
Marshall is the No. 81 overall prospect and No. 16 power forward in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking. He is also the No. 2 player in Arkansas.
On3 rates Marshall higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Per On3’s 2023 basketball rankings, he is the No. 70 overall prospect, No. 16 power forward and No. 1 player in Arkansas.
Beard was announced as Ole Miss’ new head coach this morning. In addition to Burks, his arrival helped convince Decatur (Ala.) Hillcrest Prep four-star small forward Jordan Burks to remain signed with the Rebels.

Ole Miss’ 2023 recruiting class contains three players. They are Burks, Marshall and Mccomb (Miss.) Briarcrest Christian three-star power forward Jacob Gazzo.
The Rebels’ group is currently No. 53 in the 2023 On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings. It is also No. 9 in the SEC.
The 6-foot-8, 215-pound recruit has an On3 NIL Valuation of $9.2K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
Rashaud Marshall On3 Scouting Summary
The following is the On3 Scouting Summary for Rashaud Marshall:
“Rashaud Marshall is strong a, burly post player on the block. He is physical on the block, buries his man deep, and gives a big target. Marshall has good hands and can finish, through contact, with both hands around the basket.
“He did not take a jump shot, but the free-throw form looked like you could build on it. There were a couple plays where he ripped through and attacked from the top of the key. Hard worker, blue-collar, and one to watch enter the rankings at the next update.”
