Tennessee EDGE Tyler Baron has committed to Ole Miss out of the NCAA transfer portal. Baron announced the news on Saturday.

Baron will immediately add more pass-rush firepower to the Rebels, who already acquired some in the portal when they landed former Florida EDGE Princely Umanmielen.

The Tennessee standout starred for the Volunteers for four years before entering the portal.

In four seasons, Baron racked up 101 tackles, 27.0 tackles for a loss, 13.0 sacks, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery and four pass breakups. He also scored a defensive touchdown in 2023.

Prior to enrolling at Tennessee, Baron was a four-star prospect and the No. 111 overall recruit in the 2020 class, according to the On3 Industry Rankings. He also checked in as the No. 8 EDGE and the No. 4 overall player in the state of Tennessee, hailing from Knoxville (TN) Knoxville Catholic.
