Ole Miss is hosting Georgia on Saturday with an opportunity to get the biggest win of the Lane Kiffin era. Beating the Bulldogs won’t be easy, though, as Kirby Smart once again has a loaded team that has already gone on the road and handled Texas this season.

ESPN college football analyst Tim Tebow joined SportsCenter Saturday morning and shared the key to Ole Miss winning Saturday’s huge SEC game. He believes it starts with playing well up front against the Bulldogs.

“I think it starts up front,” Tebow said. “He’s gotta have the help up front. Listen, over the course of the last few years, they haven’t had the Jimmys and the Joes up front to compete physically with Georgia. Now they’re closer to competing with all of the transfers.”

Being able to block Georgia will allow Lane Kiffin to be creative in the running game and passing game. Tebow loved what Ole Miss did last weekend against Arkansas, although replicating that against Georgia will not be easy.

Tebow pointed out that against the Razorbacks, Ole Miss sent its tight end in motion, then ran Jaxson Dart out of an empty formation into a four-man box. It was just one example of the Rebels getting creative against Arkansas in the running game.

“One of the keys now – find creative ways to get a running game going. I love how they did it against Arkansas,” he said.

Tebow also pointed out how Dart did a solid job of going through his reads against Arkansas, something he was able to do because Ole Miss did an excellent job of picking up blitzes.

“This is where he is elite. He has a lot of experience, he knows what the defense is giving him, and when he has time he can absolutely make you pay. But that is really hard against Georgia,” Tebow said.

Finally, Tebow believes that when Dart gets 1-on-1 opportunities, he has to take advantage and hit them. Ole Miss could be without Tre Harris against Georgia, but the Rebels still have plenty of other talented wideouts.

“When you do get the 1-on-1 opportunities, you have to hit them. You don’t get them a lot against Georgia, but when you do you cannot miss it,” Tebow said.

He ended the segment by breaking down a beautiful play design by Kiffin to get a receiver running open against Arkansas. Dart put the throw on the money, and the result was an Ole Miss touchdown.

“You’ve gotta let Lane be creative. When the offensive line can protect you a little bit, he can do awesome things,” Tebow said. “That’s what happens when you give Lane time. When you give him a few Jimmys and Joes, a few big boys, you get the running game going, that’s what Lane Kiffin can do to you.”
