Da’Shawn Womack has signed to enroll at Ole Miss Rebels out of the NCAA Transfer Portal, On3 has learned.

This comes after Womack entered the portal upon its opening on Monday after planning to do so last week. The Rebels were one of the few schools to interact with him, though, after getting him to Oxford for a visit on Tuesday with him now committing. That was with predictions on Womack per RPM being 100% toward Ole Miss.

Per the latest in On3’s 2025 Top Transfer Portal Players, Womack was the No. 3 edge rusher and No. 39 overall transfer.

Womack will now be one of the first players to come to The ‘Sip this offseason. With that, Ole Miss also has eight players officially in the portal looking to transfer out.

Womack just finished his second season with the LSU Tigers. He made double-digit appearances for their defense in that time as an underclassman and, over that collegiate career so far, posted 23 tackles, four deflections, and 2.5 sacks.

Womack, a Baltimore native, played high school football at St. Frances Academy. He was the No. 42 overall recruit there as a four-star prospect in the 2023 cycle. That’s according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also rated as the No. 1 player out of the state of Maryland and the No. 5 DE in the class. At that point, he committed to LSU over Maryland, Georgia, and Ole Miss with the Rebels having hosted him twice at that time on visits.

Now, two years later, the third visit, except this time out of the portal, will get Wommack to Oxford with his signing with Ole Miss.
