Nashville (Tenn.) Montgomery Bell Academy four-star quarterback Marcel Reed is leading his team in the Division II-AAA Championship on Thursday night. The Ole Miss commit made a quick impact by throwing two early touchdowns.

On Reed’s first score, he rolled out to his left to escape pressure. He then lofted a throw while going backwards, finding an open receiver for a diving touchdown catch.

He followed that up by throwing a 51-yard touchdown. Just before the 30-yard line, Reed found his receiver, who proceeded to break a tackle and take off to the end zone.

A 6-foot-2, 180-pound signal-caller, Reed is the No. 327 overall prospect and No. 16 quarterback in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 8 player in Tennessee.

Reed has an On3 NIL Valuation of $62K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
