Few 2022 recruits are as in-demand as Dallas Parish Episcopal School running back Andrew Paul right now.

After a slow build in his recruiting, Paul is on fire right now, picking up major offers left and right. His latest offer comes Thursday from Oregon.

The Ducks join Clemson, Michigan, Notre Dame and Washington as schools to offer Paul after the conclusion of the early signing period. During the fall, Auburn, Michigan State, Missouri and Purdue — among other schools — also extended offers to Paul.

Prior to his senior season, his only Power Five offer was from Colorado.

“It’s definitely crazy to think about,” Andrew Paul said. “I trusted in the process; I knew this would come eventually.”

Paul has a visit scheduled to the Wolverines next weekend before going to Clemson the following weekend.

He carried the football 623 times in his high school career for 4,620 yards and 66 touchdowns.

The Ducks are in need of some offensive talent in its recruiting class, which ranks No. 32 in the 2022 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Ranking. Oregon has nine commits — seven of them signees — and only one of them is an offensive player: Chatsworth (Calif.) Sierra Canyon three-star offensive tackle Michael Wooten.

San Diego Lincoln four-star cornerback Jalil Tucker is the highest-rated recruit in the class. Tucker is the No. 119 overall recruit in the cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is the No. 56 recruit in the 2022 On300 ranking.
