2024 TE Jackson Ford decommits from Oregon Ducks
Melissa (Texas) three-star tight end Jackson Ford announced on social media Sunday evening that he has decommitted from the Oregon Ducks.
Ford initially committed to Oregon back in April and was part of a Ducks class that ranks in the top 10 nationally in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.
Ford is the nation’s No. 1051 overall prospect and No. 59 tight end in the 2024 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 162 player in Texas.

“After lots of prayer and conversation, I’ve decided to decommit from University of Oregon,” Ford wrote in a statement on social media. “I appreciate everyone for all of the support throughout this process. I’m excited to say that my recruitment is 100% back open! All love.”
Ford does not currently have a publicly listed On3 NIL Valuation. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
