2025 4-star WR Adrian Wilson flips commitment from TCU to Oregon

Pflugerville (Texas) Weiss four-star wide receiver Adrian Wilson announced his commitment to TCU last month, choosing the Horned Frogs over Oklahoma, Oregon, and Ole Miss.
Late Saturday night, Wilson changed his mind though and flipped his commitment to the Ducks, giving Oregon its third pledge in the 2025 class.
The 6-foot-1, 170-pound Wilson is the No. 64 overall prospect in the 2025 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also ranks as the nation’s No. 10 wide receiver and the No. 11 recruit in Texas.
On3 is higher on him than other recruiting services though, and in the most recent On300 rankings he was tabbed as the country’s No. 36 prospect, No. 7 wide receiver and No. 5 player in the Lone Star State.

He joins four-star Tampa Bay (Fla.) Tech wide receiver Dallas Wilson and Melbourne (Fla.) Eau Gallie defensive lineman Sandman Thompson in the Ducks’ class, which ranks No. 3 nationally in the early On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.
Offensive coordinator Will Stein has been recruiting Wilson hard
Former UTSA offensive coordinator Will Stein led the charge for Wilson, as Stein has been a major presence in his old stomping grounds in Central Texas, which included making Wilson an early priority for the Ducks.
This trip was his first visit to Oregon, and he’d grown up as a fan of the Ducks.
“I was originally a big fan of Marcus Mariota when my brother played quarterback,” Wilson told On3’s Sam Spiegelman in May. “We watched him all the time. We loved the breast cancer awareness uniforms and how many different uniform combinations they had … Coach Stein is a great coach. In general, he talks well, he knows what kids want to hear and he can coach well, and he’s a great man in general.”
