Lewisville (Texas) 2025 five-star offensive tackle Michael Fasusi was set to take his third college visit of January this upcoming weekend as he was set to fly northwest to Eugene, Oregon.

That visit is now off the table.

Fasusi posted on social media that he “won’t be at Oregon this weekend.”

The 6-foot-4.5, 300-pound Fasusi is the nation’s No. 15 overall prospect and No. 2 offensive tackle in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 4 recruit in Texas.

Fasusi has taken January visits to Texas A&M and Missouri this month and broke down both trips with On3.

Texas A&M staff ‘made a great impression’

New Aggies head coach Mike Elko Aggies offensive line coach Adam Cushing were persistent in recruiting Fasusi and getting him to campus.

“They made a great impression on me,” Fasusi told On3. “I believe in Coach Elko and what he’s going to build at Texas A&M. Coach Cushing is everything I need in an offensive line coach, and the numbers can speak for itself. He knows the fundamentals and he wants to push me harder than I can push myself.”

Fasusi visited Texas A&M on January 13, a week before he was set to visit Missouri. The Aggies have certainly made themselves contenders in this recruitment alongside the Tigers and other schools such as Oregon, Texas and Oklahoma.

“I believe they’re more serious about me,” Fasusi said earlier this month. “I was the only offensive lineman there yesterday, and that’s showing love, I just believe this coaching staff is better than the last.”

Missouri ‘one of the best visits’ Fasusi has been on

A week later, Fasusi was in Columbia, Missouri.

“It was amazing, one of the best visits I’ve ever been on,” Fasusi told On3.

“I don’t think 100 out of 10 would even be enough,” Fasusi continued. “The main reason I went up there was because of the relationship I already had with them, so me having a great visit wasn’t surprising … they just exceeded my expectations.”

Fasusi and his mother also capped the visit with a sitdown in Drinkwitz’s office, and Missouri’s head coach made a strong impression on them both.

“Definitely, I liked the environment and great people all around the place,” he started. “I also got time to spend with the players and I gotta say I love the brotherhood, the players and the coaches have within the program. Coach Jones made it even better …. just the type of person he is and he’s an even better coach.”

“The highlight was just getting to spend a lot of time with the players and the coaches,” Fasusi added. “Coach Drink is my guy, too.”
