4-star LB Devon Jackson remaining committed to Oregon
Count Omaha (Neb.) Burke four-star linebacker Devon Jackson among those recruits staying committed to Oregon despite Mario Cristobal bolting for Miami.
Jackson told ABC’s Omaha affiliate that he believes Oregon is right spot of him as both a player and a person.
“I’m staying here because it’s more than just him,” Jackson said. “It’s the whole package that Oregon is offering me. I feel like I can become a better person than a football player there. Doesn’t matter who’s coaching me because I feel like football will always take care of itself.”
Devon Jackson is the No. 174 overall player in the country, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
