4-Star offensive tackle Olaus Alinen schedules an official visit to Oregon

Olaus Alinen is coming off official visits to Miami and Alabama. He was set to visit Georgia and Ohio State the next two weekends, then commit to one of those four schools.
But there has been a fifth school added. And he will add a fifth official visit in between trips to Athens and Columbus.
The No. 125 prospect in the On3 Consensus has added Oregon to his list and Alinen will trip to Eugene June 21-23.
Mario Cristobal and the old staff started recruiting the 6-foot-6, 311-pound offensive tackle out of Windsor (Ct.) The Loomis Chaffee School when he was a freshman. Dan Lanning and his staff jumped in the mix a couple of months ago.

The four-star wants to give the Ducks a shot.
“I just want to check the place out, get to know the people, and see what the vibe is at Oregon,” Alinen told On3. “I like Coach Klemm a lot and it’s just a good opportunity for me to check it out.”
Alinen has watched Oregon over the years. He knows about the success the program has had and they now will get a shot to compete with the Crimson Tide, Bulldogs, Hurricanes, and Buckeyes.
“It’s a program that can win and develop you. I have a huge amount of respect for coach Klemm and for his coaching ability. It is also a place where you can maximize your personal brand, so I want to check it out.”
According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, Alabama is the favorite.
