4-star WR Adrian Wilson decommits from Oregon Ducks

Pflugerville (Texas) Weiss four-star wide receiver Adrian Wilson has decommitted from the Oregon Ducks, per On3’s Hayes Fawcett.
“After a lot of thought, consideration and conversations with my loved ones I am making the decision to re-open my recruitment and decommit from the University of Oregon,” Wilson wrote on social media. “I would like to thank the staff at Oregon for all the lessons they have taught me over the time and everything they have done for my family. I would also like to thank all the coaches that have continued to recruit me during the time I was committed. I would also welcome coaches that aren’t yet or stopped recruiting me to buy stock now. I am looking for a school I can call a home away from home and a staff that is like a true extension of my family and is committed to me. Thank you.”
Wilson is the nation’s No. 129 overall prospect, No. 14 wide receiver and No. 24 recruit from Texas in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
A one-time TCU commit, Wilson flipped from the Horned Frogs to the Ducks in July.
Texas and Texas A&M have remained a factor in Wilson’s commitment, he told On3 in January after visiting College Station.
“I went back to A&M recently and it was great,” Wilson told On3. “Coach Wiggins has been reaching out to me already about getting me back out to campus.”

“It’s a whole different staff,” he continued. “From Coach (Dameyune) Craig to Coach Wiggins now, it’s a stronger relationship. Wiggins — he always has a smile on his face, he’s already ready to shake hands and talk with parents, and I love to hear that, and he’s definitely a big part of this.”
“He definitely knows what it takes. He’s put so many big names into the leagues and has developed them. I could really follow some of those big players that he’s put in the league.”
Texas wide receivers coach has also expressed the Longhorns’ interest in Wilson.
“Texas likes me a lot,” he started. “What stood out to me — Coach Jackson made sure he talked to me right away and he walked around with me and my family for a little bit and made me feel like I was at the top of his priority list.”
