5-star RB Richard Young schedules final official to Oregon

Lehigh Acres (Fla.) Lehigh Senior five-star running back Richard Young will take his final official visit to Oregon on June 24-26.

“Me and Coach Lock have been building a strong relationship. Also, Coach Kenny too, we have a relationship that won’t break,” Young told On3’s Hayes Fawcett.

Young is also taking official visits to Alabama, Georgia, Notre Dame and Oklahoma. He had originally announced a visit to Ohio State but elected against it.

He is the No. 25 overall recruit in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Young currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $228k. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Heading into these official visits, Alabama is the heavy favorite to land Young at 93.6%, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine.
