Oregon quarterback Bo Nix joined some rare company on Saturday against the Colorado Buffaloes. He became just the third player in Ducks’ program history to ever rush for a touchdown, throw for a touchdown, and catch a touchdown in the same game. Check it out below as Nix completes the trifecta with the quarterback sneak.

The touchdown put the Ducks up 35-10 in the third quarter. Oregon dominated for most of Saturday’s game and they now sit at 8-1 overall for the 2022 season. They never had any problems with Colorado and won in a beatdown, 49-10.

The touchdown score above also made Nix just the 12th player in Pac-12 history since 1996 to have a passing touchdown, rushing touchdown, and receiving touchdown in the same game.

Credit to Oregon offensive coordinator Kenny Dillingham who’s done a beautiful job of utilizing Nix’s versatility in the offense in Eugene. At halftime, Nix completed 15 of his 17 passes for 226 yards through the air, while racking up three total touchdowns. Oregon led the game 28-7 at halftime.

The dynamic dual-threat finished the day with over 300 all-purpose yards and five total touchdowns. Much like many other teams across the country this season, the Colorado Buffaloes could simply find no answer on defense for Bo Nix. His five touchdowns against Colorado pushed his season total to 36 touchdowns during the 2022 season–ranking him first in the country.

Oregon has now rattled off eight straight victories since they were completely humiliated by the Georgia Bulldogs in Week 1, 49-3. Next up, they’ll face the Washington Huskies on Saturday, Nov. 12. One of the starting safeties for the Ducks, Jamal Hill, will have to miss the first half. He was ejected in the third quarter of the Colorado game for targeting.
