Dan Lanning: Oregon's fanbase makes us elite
Oregon is known for having one of the best home field advantages in college football. Dan Lanning knew that by reputation before he landed the job as Oregon’s head coach. Now, he’s learning it’s true by experience, praising the fanbase for making the Oregon football program elite.
While speaking to the media after Oregon’s over Stanford, Dan Lanning was asked about the home atmosphere.
“I thought it was impressive, right?” Dan Lanning said. “It’s impressive, you know, like eight o’clock, you know that’s usually time to tuck it in and they came out strong.”

“You know, that environment here really makes us elite. So, it was a great atmosphere tonight.”
Oregon beat Stanford 45-27 on Saturday night in front of the Ducks’ home crowd. Quarterback Bo Nix, in particular, had a dominant game in their air and on the ground for Oregon. Next up for Oregon is a trip to Arizona before the Ducks return home to play UCLA.
