LOOK: Oregon Duck mascot trolls Washington State on social media following win
In one of the whackier games of the college football Saturday slate, Oregon was able to get a win on the road against Washington State. It’s the second time this season the Pac-12 program has been able to defeat a name with the nickname Cougars. And because of it, the Oregon Duck mascot decided to have some fun on Twitter.
The Duck decided to make a nice pop culture reference after Oregon’s wins, calling himself Yung Gravy. In recent news, the rapper was seen at an awards show with the mom of Tik Tok star Addison Rae. Social media went crazy about the two being on the red carpet together at the MTV Video Music Awards.

Now, it’s translated to college football with Oregon. They have defeated both BYU and Washington State. The opportunity was almost too good for the mascot to pass up, sending people into a frenzy over his tweet.
“Call me Yung Gravy the way I been taking out these cougars,” The Duck said via Twitter.
Of the mascots in college football, The Duck is easily one of the more entertaining. Between references like these and his antics whenever the camera is around, he could be inducted into a hypothetical Hall of Fame. ESPN’s Collge Gameday has enjoyed his antics as well, making him beloved by everyone across the country.

Oregon comes from behind to beat Washington State
The Oregon Ducks have responded in a huge way after falling behind 34-22 late in the fourth quarter. After linebacker DJ Johnson was disqualified from the game following a targeting call, Washington State finished off that drive with a touchdown with 6:41 left in the game. That’s when the Ducks went on the attack.
Oregon’s first touchdown came on an 11-play 75-yard drive taking up two minutes and 46 seconds. That brought the Ducks to within five points, 34-29. Oregon’s defense stepped up on the ensuing Washington State drive forcing a three and out, taking just a minute off the clock.
On Oregon’s next drive, they channeled the big play ability from seasons past as Bo Nix found Troy Franklin on a 50-yard post route for the go-ahead touchdown. And instead of kicking the extra point, Oregon went for two and converted to take a three-point lead, 37-34.
