Former Texas offensive lineman Junior Angilau commits to Oregon
Former Texas Longhorns offensive lineman Junior Angilau is headed to the Pac-12. Angilau announced from his social media account he is heading to Eugene, OR, after committing to Oregon for 2023.
Angilau was a 6-foot-6, 311-pound senior for the Longhorns in 2022. He is a multi-year starter and went into the 2022 season as a second-team preseason All-Big 12 selection by Athlon Sports, a popular college football publication.
A pivotal part of the Texas offensive line, Angilau did not play in 2022 after suffering a season-ending injury.
Prior to that he had started 34 games for the Longhorns dating back to the 2019 season.
Before enrolling at Texas and eventually entering the NCAA transfer portal, Junior Angilau was a four-star prospect and the No. 121 overall recruit in the 2018 class, according to the On3 Consensus recruiting rankings. He was the No. 6 interior offensive lineman in the class and the No. 2 overall player in the state of Utah, hailing from Salt Lake City (UT) East.

Track transfer portal activity
The NCAA Transfer Portal, which covers every NCAA sport at the Division I, II and III levels, is a private database with names of student-athletes who wish to transfer. It is not accessible to the public.
While the NCAA transfer portal database is private, the On3 Network has streamlined the reporting process tracking player movement.
