Four-Star DL Xadavien Sims commits to Oregon

Four-star defensive lineman Xadavien Sims of Durant (OK) High announced his commitment to Oregon Saturday afternoon.
The 6-foot-4, 280 pounder chose the Ducks over Oklahoma, Michigan State, and others.
Sims on why he chose Oregon
“As soon as I touched campus I loved it,” Sims said. “By the time we started the photo shoot I knew that was where I wanted to be. Everyone there is connected like a family and what’s at Oregon you can’t really find anywhere else in the country.”
Relationship with coaching staff + their plan for Sims
“I have a pretty good relationship with all of the staff,” Sims said. “I’m closest with coach Tuoiti and coach Lanning. Coach Tuioti has been to my school about 4 times since he’s offered me and I talk to coach Lanning every week. Coach Tuioti wants to play me early and keep me inside to play the 3 tech.”
The Oklahoma defensive lineman joins coach Dan Lanning and the Ducks’ top 10 class in the 2024 team rankings. He is accompanied by four-star wide receiver Jordan Anderson, four-star safety Aaron Flowers, and others.
