Four-Star OT Jac'Qawn McRoy commits to Oregon
Four-star offensive tackle Jac’Qawn McRoy of Pinson (AL) Clay-Chalkville High announced his commitment to Oregon Saturday afternoon.
The 6-foot-8, 365 pounder chose the Ducks over Arkansas, Ole Miss, and Kentucky.
McRoy on why he chose Oregon
“The facility and an early opportunity to play stood out,” McRoy said. “And the young coaching staff with Alique Terry.”
Relationship with coaching staff + their plan for him
“I’m closest with coach Terry and he plans on using me at right tackle and plans to develop me and play at the same time.”
The Alabama offensive lineman joins coach Dan Lanning and the Ducks’ top 10 class in the 2024 team rankings. He is accompanied by four-star wide receiver Jordan Anderson, four-star defensive lineman Xadavien Sims, and others.
