If you are going to beat a top-10-ranked conference foe, a couple of things are going to have to bounce your way. Oregon has played well against Arizona but has had at least one lucky moment that occurred early in the first half.

Senior guard Jermaine Couisnard was looking to get the Ducks in transition, with N’Faly Dante running down the middle of the court. With Dante being listed at 6-11, the logical idea would be to throw something around the hoop. Dante could then collect himself and put it in for an easy two.

Well, Oregon found itself with three points instead. In something Couisnard couldn’t do again in 100 attempts if he tried — his pass went through the hoop for a bucket. Nearly a halfcourt shot, what should have been an assist for Couisnard turned into a made three-point attempt.

Oregon center N’Faly Dante throws down amazing dunk

Saturday’s Arizona–Oregon matchup did not have too much hype leading into tip-off but things changed quite quickly. Center N’Faly Dante now has the Ducks ready to go to battle with the No. 9 ranked in the country thanks to an insane dunk within the first minute of the game.

Arizona was trying to break a press following an Oregon miss and attempted a long pass. N’Faly did his best defensive back impersonation, something even Dan Lanning would be happy with. He intercepted the pass and made his way down the court with some intention.

Kerr Krissa was then on the receiving end of a ferocious dunk from N’Faly — one that will most likely end up as one of the best this season. It’s now forever going to be a highlight in college basketball compilations for years to come.
