Oregon defensive lineman Jake Shipley entered the NCAA transfer portal. His name appeared after the Ducks’ Fiesta Bowl win over Liberty Monday afternoon.

Shipley played four seasons for the Ducks, but did not play in 2020 and played just one game the following year. He finished his tenure with 15 total tackles, six solo tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss.

As a member of the Class of 2020, Shipley was a three-star recruit out of Indio (Calif.) Shadow Hills, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He was the No. 88 overall prospect in the state, the No. 98 defensive lineman in the class and the No. 970 overall prospect in the class.
