LOOK: Oregon drops uniform combination ahead of Pac-12 Championship
The Oregon Ducks have released their uniforms for their Pac-12 Championship game matchup against the Utah Utes. Check them out below.
They’ll be rocking the eggshell tops this week. The eggshell jerseys were worn earlier in the 2021 college football season on Oct. 23 against UCLA.
The green speckles on the jerseys are inspired by the speckled eggs that some ducks lay. The only exception with these uniforms and the UCLA uniforms are the Pac-12 championship game uniforms will have the nightmare green pants.
Below is an excellent description of the uniforms from On3’s Tim Verghese: “Featuring an iridescent helmet that shifts between matte dark green and black, Oregon’s new uniforms are unique from head to toe. The jerseys feature green-black iridescent numbers.” The helmets are described as the color–nightmare green.
A very cool addition to the uniforms for the week are the Oregon Galaxy Vaporposite cleats. For the sneakerheads out there, the shoes will look like a familiar basketball classic–the Nike Foamposites.
Check out the epic cleats below.
It’s a uniquely Oregon spin on a classic sneaker from Nike. This is definitely one of the cooler touches to their cleats the Ducks have done over the years.
Oregon gets a rematch with Utah
In a rare opportunity, Oregon will get a rematch in the Pac-12 Championship Game with the Utah Utes, who just absolutely throttled the Ducks 38-7 not even two weeks ago on Nov. 20. Revenge will undoubtedly be on the Ducks’ minds in this game, as Utah ended Oregon’s dreams of landing in the College Football Playoff.
