Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman High safety Kodi Decambra is set to make his announcement tomorrow between six finalists: Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Oregon State, Colorado, and Hawaii.

Ahead of that decision, the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM) heavily favors one program to land the four-star safety: Oregon.

The On3 RPM gives the Ducks a 99.2 percent chance of securing Decambra’s commitment, with each of the other finalists polling well below 1 percent.

The On3 RPM was released to the public in December. On3’s engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.

It factors in machine learning, expert predictions, social sentiment, visits, and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.

The 5-foot-11, 173-pounder visited the Ducks last month, his second trip to Eugene since the beginning of the new year. He has developed a strong relationship with safeties coach Matt Powledge. And likes what head coach Dan Lanning brings to the table.

“It’s more of the fact that he has had the No. 1 defense in two of the three seasons,” Decambra told On3’s ScoopDuck. “And now he’s a head coach.”

Kodi Decambra is the No. 248 overall prospect in the 2023 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 22 safety and the No. 3 junior in Nevada.
