On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine: Oregon trending for Terrance Green
Cypress (Texas) Cy Woods four-star defensive lineman Terrance Green is announcing his commitment on Aug. 1. The 6-foot-5.5, 275 pound prospect is deciding between Florida, Miami, Michigan State, Oregon and Texas. According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, the Ducks are in strong position to land Green’s commitment at 96.4%.
On3’s Sam Spiegelman reported that multiple programs are pushing hard to land a pledge from Green as he nears his announcement. Green has taken three official visits so far in his recruiting process. They were to Oregon, Michigan State and Oklahoma State. The trips to Eugene and East Lansing came in June, while the one to Stillwater was in April. Oklahoma State and Oregon are the only programs that Green has visited multiple times.
Green enjoyed his official visit in Eugene. He told ScoopDuck’s Justin Hopkins that the trip involved connecting with the defensive linemen and touring the campus among other activities.
“We did the big photoshoot which was fun,” Green told Hopkins. “We talked to the nutritional guys and had some position meetings. Went over the academics. But the ‘Amazing Race’ game was really fun. I really enjoyed that.
“We really liked seeing more of the campus and learning about the academics a lot more. They have a big business school which I’m really interested in.”

Recruiting impact if Green commits to Oregon
Green is the No. 272 overall prospect and No. 39 defensive lineman in the 2023 On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also rated as the No. 49 player in Texas.
If Green commits to Oregon, he would the Ducks’ second defensive line pledge for their 2023 recruiting class alongside Layton (Utah) Layton Christian Academy three-star Tevita Pome’e. He would also be the seventh-highest ranked recruit in the Ducks’ 2023 class.
Oregon’s group is currently ranked No. 13 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings and No. 2 in the Pac 12. The class is led by Detroit (Mich.) Martin Luther King five-star quarterback Dante Moore and San Jose (Calif.) Mater Dei five-star wide receiver Jurrion Dickey.
Terrance Green On3 Scouting Summary
The following is the On3 Scouting Summary for Terrance Green:
“Prototype build that shows disruption and athleticism as a two-way starter at defensive and offensive tackle. Stands at 6-foot-5.5 and 275 pounds with an 83-inch wingspan. Displays raw power and punch when striking defenders and stacking offensive lineman as a run defender. Threw over 50 feet in the shot put as a junior. Flashes smooth feet as a pass protector and when rushing the passer. Tallied up 40 total tackles, 11 tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks as a junior. Body type and physical traits scream offensive tackle projection, just has some rawness to his game that can be honed in with college coaching. Has the potential to make an impact on either side of the ball at the college level, with his highest upside projecting as an offensive tackle.”
