On300 4-star DL Josiah Sharma commits to Oregon Ducks
Sacramento (Calif.) Folsom four-star defensive lineman Josiah Sharma has committed to Oregon.
He chose the Ducks over Alabama, Washington, Texas and more than a dozen other programs.
The 6-foot-5, 320-pounder took official visits to each of the four finalists earlier this month but ultimately chose Dan Lanning and Co.
“They got a really good culture,” Sharma said of Oregon this spring. “It’s really competitive. They’re trying to get at it.”

He is the No. 236 overall prospect in the 2025 class, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He also ranks as the nation’s No. 18 defensive lineman and No. 23 recruit in the state of California.
On3, however, is much higher on him than the other three services. In the most recent On300 rankings, he was tabbed as the country’s No. 83 recruit and No. 7 defensive lineman.
