Oregon 4-star SG signee Vyctorius Miller receives NLI release from Ducks
Vyctorius Miller will not be headed to Eugene after all. The 6-foot-5 shooting guard out of Compass Prep (AZ) has been released from his National Letter of Intent (NLI) to Oregon and will reopen his recruitment.
The four-star senior committed to the Ducks in November and signed his NLI during the early period. He ultimately chose Oregon over USC, Gonzaga, LSU, and the G-League Ignite.
According to the On3 Industry Rankings, Miller is the No. 53 overall prospect in the 2024 cycle. He’s also the No. 13 shooting guard prospect and the No. 3 player in Arizona. The On3 Industry Ranking is a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

“Vyctorius Miller has a basketball frame, with long arms and broad shoulders. He should continue to put on weight as he matures and gets into an advanced strength and conditioning program. Miller is comfortable on or off the ball. He can run a team and get his guys into sets and play efficiently. He can also be a dangerous scorer, capable of heating up quickly. Miller has a quick first step and is decisive in getting downhill. He is a good athlete and plays with good balance. Miller is a smooth shooter with deep range and confidence. Adding strength should help him find consistency. There is an upside on the defensive end when he locks in. About Vyctorius Miller
Vyctorius Miller is the nephew of rapper Master P. He’s also the son of Vyshon Miller, who is better known as Silkk the Shocker, a multiplatinum artist who thrived with No Limit Records. Vyctorius Miller grabbed national headlines when he signed a NIL deal with Under Armour in February 2023 to promote the shoemaker’s new Spawn 5 Carnival Pack sneaker. Originally from North Hollywood, California, Miller played his junior season at Arizona’s Compass Prep. Because the school is not a member of the Arizona Interscholastic Association, he does not have to follow the governing body’s NIL policy, which prohibits athletes from profiting from their publicity rights. Miller describes himself as the ultimate team player. “I make plays for my team, try to get my teammates going,” Miller told On3’s Jamie Shaw. “I watch a lot of the big guards, Shai Gilgeous Alexander and Cade Cunningham. They can facilitate, get to their spots easily, and get buckets.” During the UAA Next Emerson stop in November 2022, Miller averaged 14.3 points and four assists playing with the West Coast Elite program. Miller went on a dominant tear in his sophomore season, averaging 20 points, five rebounds and four assists a game to lead Irvine Crean Lutheran to the CIF Southern Section Open Division playoffs in 2021.
