Oregon CB Khamari Terrell enters NCAA transfer portal
According to On3’s Pete Nakos, Oregon cornerback Khamari Terrell has entered the NCAA transfer portal. Terrell just wrapped up his third season with the program, singing with the Ducks coming out of high school. But his career will be concluded elsewhere, hitting the open market on Monday.
After having a role in 2022 and 2023, the game time for Terrell took a nose dive this year. He played in just three games, making his last appearance against UCLA on Sept. 28. Just one tackle was recorded by Terrell, coming in the season opener against Idaho.
Going back to the 2023 season, Terrell had seven tackles plus a pass breakup in nine games played. However, his official Oregon profile says most of his snaps came on special teams for a total of 106 snaps.
Terrell played high school football at Killeen (STATE) Shoemaker, where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 254 overall recruit in the 2022 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
