Oregon DL Jordan Burch announces decision to return to Ducks for 2024 season
Oregon defensive lineman Jordan Burch has made a decision on his future. Burch revealed on Instagram on Saturday that he is returning to school for one more season.
The junior recorded 34 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss and 3 sacks in 2023.
He had an impressive first season at Oregon after transferring in from South Carolina.
Jordan Burch is a former five-star. He was ranked as the No. 11 overall player in the class of 2020, according to the On3 Industry rankings.
Burch appeared in eight games during his first season at South Carolina, finishing with 19 tackles and 2.5 tackles for loss.
In 2021, Burch appeared in all 13 games, making one start during the final game of the season. He had 26 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, a sack and a pick-six that season.
Burch’s final season in Columbia came in 2022 as he started all 13 games and had 60 tackles, 7.5 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks. Following that season, he entered the NCAA transfer portal, before winding up at Oregon.
Burch helped the Ducks to a 12-2 season and a win in the Fiesta Bowl this past season. He will look to end his college career with another impressive season in 2024.

The 2024 NFL Draft will be held in Detroit, Michigan, with the first round on Thursday, April 25, the second and third rounds on Friday, April 26, and the fourth through seventh rounds on Saturday, April 27.

Players will have the opportunity to solidify their draft stock at the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine, to be held in Indianapolis, Indiana from February 26 through March 4.
The three-day event will be broadcasted throughout the weekend on ESPN and NFL Network.
To be eligible for the NFL Draft, players must be at least three years removed from their final year of high school while having used up their collegiate eligibility. Underclassmen are able to request league approval to become eligible for the draft, as are players who have graduated prior to using up all of their collegiate eligibility.
Last season, 69 players were granted special eligibility for the 2023 NFL Draft. 13 underclassmen who had completed their college degrees were also deemed eligible to be selected.
The deadline to declare for the 2024 NFL Draft is on January 15. NFL teams will receive a full list of eligible players in the class on January 19.
