Oregon defensive lineman My’Keil Gardner has entered the NCAA transfer portal. On3’s Pete Nakos has confirmed the news.

Gardner is coming off his second season with the Ducks and has played sparingly in those two years. He is not listed as having played in a game during the 2024 season.

Gardner had previously appeared in three games for the team during the 2023 season, taking a redshirt after recording one tackle. Prior to enrolling at Oregon, My’Keil Gardner was ranked as a three-star prospect and the No. 442 overall recruit in the 2023 recruiting class. He also checked in as the No. 48 defensive lineman and the No. 10 overall player from the state of Arizona, hailing from Peoria (AZ) Liberty.

Oregon LB Jaeden Moore commits to Pittsburgh

My’Keil Gardner is not the only transfer out of Oregon so far this offseason. It’s just that some are a little further ahead in the process than others. Oregon linebacker Jaeden Moore previously committed to Pittsburgh, via the NCAA transfer portal. Moore spent two seasons with the Ducks.

In the 2024 campaign, Moore made five appearances for Oregon, recording two tackles, six passes defended and 0.5 sacks. Moore saw limited action during his true freshman season, only logging two tackles.

Moore played high school football at Central Valley Christian (CA), where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 848 overall recruit and No. 71 EDGE in the 2023 recruiting cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Moore chose Pitt over Virginia Tech, Michigan State and Nebraska in the transfer portal. He is the seventh player the Panthers have added via the NCAA Transfer Portal this offseason. The team has also lost 18 players to the portal, causing them to land at No. 57 in On3’s 2025 Team Transfer Portal Rankings.

On3’s Grant Grubbs also contributed to this report.
