Kayvon Thibodeaux posts update on Instagram
Oregon star defensive end Kayvon Thibodeaux made a post on his Instagram story indicating he made the trip with his teammates to Columbus ahead of Oregon’s Week Two matchup with Ohio State.
“When I fly, I fly United,” Thibodeaux said on his story with the Ducks plane to Columbus in the background.
Thibodeaux has an NIL deal with United Airlines. Though it appears that Thibodeaux made the trip to Columbus, his status for Saturday’s game remains unknown after suffering an ankle sprain in Oregon’s season-opening win over Fresno State.
Kayvon Thibodeaux is considered day-to-day
“We’ll see,” Cristobal said on Wednesday, regarding whether Thibodeaux will participate in practice this week. “It’s still early in the week. We’re doing some things just not doing a whole bunch. We’re being, I wouldn’t say cautious, we’re just doing the right thing to make sure that as we heal, that we’re healing at the right pace so that we can be available as soon as we can possibly be.”
Kayvon Thibodeaux was seen on the sidelines with a walking boot late in the third quarter of Saturday’s game after a teammate rolled on his ankle in the first half. He is expected to be one of the top picks in the 2022 NFL Draft.
Prior to the injury, Thibodeaux, a preseason All-American, had a strip-sack that set up an Oregon touchdown.

Kayvon Thibodeaux’s NIL deal with United Airlines
Kayvon Thibodeaux has signed a number of NIL deals, including partnering with United Airlines.
In a statement provided to ESPN, Thibodeaux said, “Partnering with United Airlines was a no-brainer for me, as they are a premium brand with the same core values as I have. I look forward to a long-standing relationship with United.”
At the time of the deal, Thibodeaux posted an Instagram ad for a unique flight offer by United Airlines.
