Oregon Ducks wide receiver no longer with program
Oregon sophomore wide receiver Mycah Pittman is no longer with the program, according to On3’s ScoopDuck and head coach Mario Cristobal. The team confirmed the news Wednesday, with Cristobal saying it is time to move on.
“He’s moving on, we’re moving,” Cristobal said. “We wish him the best.”
A former 4-star prospect, Pittman was the No. 94 overall player in the class of 2019 and the No. 15 receiver. He chose Oregon over Alabama, USC, Georgia, LSU, and others.
The son of former NFL running back Michel Pittman Sr., and brother of Indianapolis Colts receiver Michael Pittman Jr., Pittman was one of the top prospects in Oregon’s 2019 class.
In Oregon’s win over Washington State on Saturday, the Ducks ran 69 offensive plays and Pittman played a season-low 23 of those snaps. For the second week in a row, he did not finish with a catch.
More about Mycah Pittman
In 10 games, Pittman has 12 catches for 197 receiving yards, and he has no touchdowns. He has also returned 15 punts for 151 yards this season.
Pittman had his most productive game of the season against UCLA on Oct. 23. Afterward, Oregon coach Mario Cristobal was asked about Mycah Pittman and Devon Williams’ respective contributions against the Bruins.

“They’re continuing to do things in practice that are affording them these opportunities,” Cristobal said. “I really appreciate these two guys. I know and have watched the level of potential and impact they have, and to me, there is more in the tank and we gotta get it out of them.”
Another former Oregon Duck transfers
Former Oregon offensive lineman Kingsley Suamataia took to Twitter last week to announce he’s transferring to BYU and has signed a name, image and likeness deal with a Utah-based solar energy company. He is a former five-star recruit, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
Suamataia was the No. 1 recruit in the state of Utah out of high school from the class of 2021 and chose Oregon over plenty of big names, including Alabama, Georgia and Ohio State. He was also the No. 20 recruit in the country and the nation’s No. 5 offensive lineman, according to the On3 Consensus.
The 6-foot-5, 280-pound Suamataia is a native of Orem, Utah — just 13 miles from Provo and BYU. He’s heading home. Suamataia only played in one game this season — Sept. 18 against Stony Brook, an FCS school.
