Dan Lanning has been doing an incredible job on the recruiting trail for Oregon in his first year on the job, and the nation received more proof of that Monday.

Follow Monday’s commitment from Honolulu (Hawaii) Farrington four-star interior offensive lineman Iapani Laloulu, the 2023 Ducks recruiting class now ranks 10th in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Ranking.

The class is No. 1 in the Pac-12 and now also ranks ahead of former head coach Mario Cristobal‘s class at Miami.

The Oregon group has two major offensive cornerstones in Detroit Martin Luther King five-star quarterback Dante Moore and Palo Alto (Calif.) Menlo-Atherton five-star wide receiver Jurrion Dickey.

On the defensive side of the ball, Sammamish (Wash.) Rainer Beach four-star cornerback Caleb Presley is the top-ranked defender.

Laloulu is the second offensive lineman commit in the class, joining San Juan (Calif.) Capistrano three-star interior offensive lineman Lipe Moala.

With Laloulu’s commitment, Oregon also has the No. 1 recruit from five different states: Colorado, Idaho, Michigan, Oregon and Washington.

Iapani Laloulu is Hawaii’s top recruit

Iapani Laloulu ranks as the No. 301 overall recruit in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

He is the No. 19 interior offensive lineman in the class and the No. 1 prospect from the state of Hawaii.
