Oregon senior Kario Oquendo has entered the NCAA transfer portal, On3 has learned.

This will be the third time Oquendo has entered the portal in his college career, which started in 2020 at Florida Southwestern State College. He transferred to Georgia in 2022 before spending one season in Eugene.

This past season, Oquendo averaged 7.2 points and 2.4 rebounds per game for the Ducks. There, he helped play a role in Oregon winning the 2024 Pac-12 Tournament championship. Despite this, he played a total of 18 minutes during the Ducks two NCAA Tournament games.

Oquendo’s role for the Ducks diminished throughout the season. He came out of the gates hot after transferring from Georgia. He scored in doubled figures in eight of the first 12 games of Oregon’s season, including two 20-point performances during non-conference action. After that, he would only log 10 or more points in four games after that.

At Georgia, Oquendo averaged 12.7 points and 2.6 rebounds during the 2022-23 season.

Oquendo is a former three-star recruit and was the No. 167 overall player in the nation from the 2020 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, which is a proprietary algorithm that compiles ratings and rankings from all four primary recruiting media services.

Now, Oquendo will be looking for an extended role with whatever team he ends up on next. He will have one more year of eligibility left after his commitment.

Brennan Rigsby enters transfer portal

Oregon guard Brennan Rigsby has entered his name into the transfer portal per On3’s Pete Nakos.

Rigsby started his collegiate career at Northwest Florida State College. He then transferred to Eugene where he has spent the past two years.

Rigsby made 57 appearances as a Duck, including 21 starts with eight as a sophomore and 13 this past season as a junior. He averaged 5.4 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 1.1 assists in those outings while shooting 40.6% from the field and 32.9% from three.

Rigsby played high school basketball at Wasatch Academy as a member of the 2021 class. He went there for school as a native of De Beque, Colorado. He was the first transfer of this portal cycle for Oregon. The program has yet to make any transfer additions to this point either.

Now, Oregon will be tasked with replacing these two ahead of their offseason move to the Big Ten. Only time will tell who the Ducks get.
