Oregon offers SoCal 3-star athlete Arlis Boardingham
Oregon has extended an offer to Van Nuys (Calif.) Birmingham three-star athlete Arlis Boardingham.
Boardingham is the No. 528 overall prospect and No. 23 athlete in the 2022 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
Despite being ranked as a three-star prospect, Boardingham is highly sought-after by many college football blue bloods.
He is a very versatile player, having played quarterback, wide receiver, tight end, defensive end, linebacker, safety, long snapper, punter, punt returner and kickoff returner in high school.
The Los Angeles Times named him its back of the year for the 2021 season.
“I’ve seen Boardingham in action and he could play Tight End, Edge or perhaps Outside Linebacker in certain schemes,” WeAreSC’s Scott Schrader said. “Either way he’s an extremely talented and (athletic) athlete with impressive size.”

Schrader called Boardingham a “must call” player for USC after Lincoln Riley was hired.
Arlis Boardingham was also offered by Florida last week. He is set to take an official visit to Gainesville in January.
“Early on, I think (the offer) sits pretty high just because it’s my first SEC offer,” Boardingham told Gators Online. “It’s a team that I think has the chance to do something special next season, especially with the new coaching staff. I think they sit pretty high with me.”
