Oregon quarterback Bo Nix does not exactly have a decision made regarding his future yet. Whether he returns to school for one more year or heads of the NFL, it’s a decision the Ducks quarterback has yet to make ahead of the Holiday Bowl.

“Yeah, I want to know too,” Nix said when he was asked if he knows his future. “I’m still trying to figure things out myself. And we’ll decide later … I’m just trying to get ready for this bowl game and get ready for North Carolina and just do well practice and continue to get better.”

As part of a follow up, Nix was asked why it’s been such a difficult decision.

“Because it’s the future,” Nix said. “You know that the next decision is the most important and there’s just a lot that goes into it and a lot of things that you can’t necessarily control and that are going to be variables moving forward.”

This season, Nix got off to a hot start following Oregon’s season-opening loss to Georgia. At one point, the Auburn transfer received some Heisman Trophy buzz.

This was the best statistical year of Nix’s career. In 12 games, he had 3,388 yards, 27 touchdowns, six interceptions and a 71.5% completion percentage. He also has 504 rushing yards and 14 rushing touchdowns, which are also career highs.

In his career with Auburn and Oregon, Nix has 10,639 yards, 66 touchdowns, 22 interceptions and a 62.% completion percentage. He has 1,373 yards on the ground to go along with 32 rushing touchdowns.

As a member of the Class of 2019, Nix was a five-star prospect out of Pinson (Ala,) Scottsboro School, according to the On3 Consensus. He was the No. 3 overall prospect in the state, the No. 2 quarterback prospect in the class and the No. 32 overall prospect in the class.

The Holiday Bowl could serve as a nice wrap up to the season for Oregon. The Ducks were in the thick of the Pac-12 title race and at one point were considered a College Football Playoff contender.

But two losses to Washington and Oregon State within the final three weeks put an end to those hopes after the team won seven in a row after the loss to Georgia to open the fall.

No. 15 Oregon (9-3) takes North Carolina (9-4) in the Holiday Bowl Dec. 28.
