Oregon wide receiver Ryan Pellum has entered the NCAA transfer portal with a do-not-contact tag, On3 has learned.

Pellum played very sparingly for the Ducks during the 2024 season, appearing in four games and returning one punt, while making one tackle on special teams.

Prior to enrolling at Oregon, Ryan Pellum was ranked as a four-star prospect and the No. 171 overall recruit in the 2024 recruiting class. He also checked in as the No. 28 receiver in the class and the No. 12 overall player from the state of California, hailing from Long Beach (CA) Millikan.

A Polynesian Bowl invitee, Pellum caught 66 passes for 991 yards and 11 touchdowns as a senior in 2023. His productivity got him on the radar of plenty of top-tier programs, including Oregon.

And he was productive for multiple years in high school.

As a junior in high school, Ryan Pellum caught 52 passes for 1,028 yards and 10 touchdowns while adding 27 tackles and a kick return touchdown.

He’ll offer whatever program takes him out of the transfer portal some versatility as a return man.

Oregon quarterback transfer heads to Cal

Ryan Pellum isn’t the only transfer portal activity the Ducks have seen since their season ended in the College Football Playoffs.

Oregon quarterback signee Jaron-Keawe Sagapolutele, who inked with the Ducks last month, has now signed with Cal via the NCAA transfer portal, per On3’s Pete Nakos.

Despite enrolling and participating in practices with the Ducks ahead of the Rose Bowl Game on Jan. 1, Sagapolutele confirmed reports that he planned to enter the portal just a few days later.

It did not take him long to find his next destination with the Golden Bears, who were the program he was committed to before flipping to Oregon on National Signing Day. Sagapolutele told reporters that he had a change of heart after seeing that he wouldn’t have the chance to start during his freshman season with the Ducks.

On3’s Keegan Pope also contributed to this report.
