Oregon rises in On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Ranking following Blake Purchase commitment
Oregon has landed a big commitment from Englewood (Colo.) Cherry Creek four-star EDGE Blake Purchase.
With Purchase’s commitment, the Ducks have jumped up to 11th in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Ranking. Oregon leap over USC and Penn State in the process.
While the Ducks class is headlined by two five-star offensive players — Detroit Martin Luther King five-star quarterback Dante Moore and Palo Alto (Calif.) Menlo-Atherton five-star wide receiver Jurrion Dickey — the Oregon staff and Dan Lanning have also built a strong group of defenders. Five of the nine four-star recruits in the class come on the defensive side of the ball.
