It has been a good day for Dan Lanning. Oregon has landed four commitments on National Signing Day: Denton (Texas) Guyer five-star safety Peyton Bowen, Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco five-star defensive lineman Matayo Uiagalelei, Long Beach (Calif.) Long Beach Poly four-star cornerback Daylen Austin and Dripping Springs (Texas) four-star quarterback Austin Novosad.

The Ducks started today at No. 14 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings. They rose to No. 10 following pledges from Bowen and Novosad, No. 8 after landing Uiagalelei and No. 6 when Austin flipped from LSU.

In addition to holding a top-10 class, Oregon’s 2023 recruiting class is now No. 1 in the Pac-12. The Ducks’ group contains 28 commitments and is composed of three five-stars, 14 four-stars and 10 three-stars.

Lanning and Co. flipped Austin, Bowen and Novosad from LSU, Notre Dame and Baylor, respectively. Meanwhile, Uiagalelei chose Oregon over Ohio State and USC.
