Oregon will honor the late Spencer Webb and Khyree Jackson on their helmets this season.

Webb, who passed away in 2022, has been honored numerous times by the Ducks since his tragic death. Jackson, a 2024 NFL Draft pick, died in a car accient earlier this month.

Oregon will wear a pair of Ducks on the back of the helmets and will feature them all season long. You can view the special decals below:

For Jackson, the accident also claimed the lives of his high school teammates AJ Lytton, who played at Penn State and Florida State in college, and Isaiah Hazel, who played for Maryland and Charlotte. The trio won state championships at Dr. Henry A. Wise Jr. High School (MD) in 2016. It’s unclear how the other schools will honor Lytton and Hazel during the season.

Jackson was recently drafted by the Vikings with the No. 108 overall pick in the fourth round of the 2024 NFL Draft after spending one season with the Ducks. Minnesota recently revealed their plans to do something similar on their helmets, as well as dedicating their season in what would have been his rookie year.

He previously played two seasons under Nick Saban at Alabama before playing at Oregon.

He suited up in 12 games this past season for Dan Lanning and the Ducks before opting out of the Vrbo Fiesta Bowl. Tallying 34 tackles (25 solo), he also compiled 5.0 tackles for loss, three interceptions, seven passes defended and 2.0 sacks. His interception total not only led the Ducks’ defense but ranked fourth in the Pac-12. For his efforts, Jackson earned First-Team All-Pac-12 honors in his lone season in Eugene before heading to the NFL Draft.

For Webb, he was getting ready for his redshirt junior season with the Ducks when he was killed in a tragic cliff-diving accident. He had 13 receptions for 87 yards and a lone touchdown which came against Arizona.

Webb would join the Ducks in 2018, but redshirted that season and then only played one game due to injury during the COVID-19-impacted 2020 campaign. Webb arrived in Eugene as a four-star recruit and the No. 11 tight end prospect in the country from the class of 2018

The Oregon Ducks will kick off its 2024 regular season against Idaho on Aug. 31 in Autzen Stadium, where they will feature the decals for the first time.
