LOOK: Oregon unveils uniform combination for matchup against BYU
Oregon football suffered a serious setback in the season opener against Georgia before righting the ship last weekend with a lopsided win over Eastern Washington. The Ducks will have a chance to get back on the national radar when they host No. 12 BYU this weekend, and they’ll be doing it in one of their sleekest uniform combinations.
On Wednesday evening, the Oregon football program revealed the combo.
It’ll be a head-to-toe dark color scheme, with matte helmets and neon yellow lettering. Check them out below.
Say this about Oregon: Win or lose, the Ducks will be rolling in style on Saturday afternoon in Autzen Stadium. The game against the Cougars is slated for a 3:30 p.m. ET kickoff with a national broadcast on Fox.
Oregon could turn its season around Saturday
While the Oregon uniform combination vs. BYU on Saturday is certainly slick, Oregon fans are probably more interested in whether first-year coach Dan Lanning can secure a marquee win early in his tenure.
Doing so against defending national champion Georgia, in Atlanta no less, was always going to be a tall task.

Taking down a ranked BYU squad fresh off a win over No. 9 Baylor? Doable, but probably a tougher ask than it appeared a couple weeks ago. In any case, it’s one Oregon is paying a hefty sum for. Reports emerged this week Oregon will pay BYU $1.1 million for the home game this weekend.
In any case, Lanning and his squad will be looking to erase the painful memory of that opening-week 49-3 loss to the Bulldogs with a better result this time around.
“We had to get better after Week 1, and regardless of the result, we’re really process-oriented,” Lanning said. “There’s a lot of things we still want to get better at from Week 2. We want to play for 60 minutes, or as long as it takes in this game. We want to use as many bodies as possible to contribute and help us.”
