Report: Texas A&M 5-star transfer Evan Stewart set to visit Oregon
Former Texas A&M wide receiver Evan Stewart could be headed to visit a certain Pacific Northwest powerhouse this weekend.
According to 247’s Matt Zenitz, Stewart is lined up for a visit to Eugene to check out the Oregon Ducks in the coming days. Here was that report:
“The current plan is for former Texas A&M star wide receiver Evan Stewart to visit Oregon this weekend, sources tell @247Sports”
Due to injuries, Stewart only played in eight games this past season. He caught 38 passes for 514 yards, both being lower than his freshman haul back in 2022 (53 and 649). Stewart did double his touchdown total though, snagging four.
He played high school football at Frisco (Texas) Liberty, where he was a five-star prospect. He was the No. 8 overall recruit and No. 2 wide receiver in the 2022 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
One of the very top playmakers in the portal will head to Oregon for a look around.
